Teens ages 13-17 years old assist the camp staff with setting up and cleaning up, supervising campers, and leading games and activities. They gain experience working with younger children and learn how to plan age-appropriate activities. CITs also learn about the weekly topic of Nature Day Camp.
Campers explore freshwater ecosystems and experiment with water. Catch aquatic animals and watch them wiggle away. Cool off during water drop relay and drip, drop, splash! All while campers learn what aquatic animals eat, who eats them, and how they breathe.
Children and teens have the opportunity to make lasting memories and amazing discoveries outdoors. Join us for fun-filled weeks of discovering the wonders of nature though games, role-playing, stories, art and craft projects, journal writing, meet live education animals, hands-on activities, picnics, and hikes through forests and along streams.
