Feel a real black bear fur, touch a black bear skull, play a game to learn what black bears eat, and pretend to see a bear in the woods to learn bear safety with Naturalist Rebecca Lesko.
Children, ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old, and a favorite adult, together, explore hands-on stations, play games, role-play, sing songs, listen to stories, discuss the topic, and make art during these playful, one-hour sessions. This four-week series runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during March. In the event of dangerous road conditions, the series will be extended. This free opportunity is made possible by a generous donation from the Overlook Foundation.
If the Tunkhannock School District is closed, class is postponed. If the Tunkhannock School District has a two-hour delay, class will be held as scheduled.
