Bring your camera and join John Goldman at the Endless Mountains Nature Center!
Award-winning photographer, John Goldman has been photographing subjects since the age of eight. A member of the Northeast Photography Club and the Audubon Society, John’s specialty is Bird and Outdoor Photography. It is appropriate then, that his first camera was a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye, which he still has.
“My images are captures of God’s natural creations,” says John. “I strive to present my subjects in the most appealing manner.”
John will present a session on Better Bird Photography for the Endless Mountains Nature Center on May 13, 2017. The session will run from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. and include John’s personal insights in a one hour lecture: “Everything I Know About Bird Photography,” as well as hands on during a guided hike after the session. May 13th is coincidentally International Migratory Bird Day.
John volunteers at Lacawac Sanctuary and the Delaware Highlands Conservancy. His photos have been published in Pennsylvania Magazine, Birds and Bloom, and local news sources. John has received numerous awards in photo exhibitions, most recently a “Best of Show” in a Penn State, Worthington Campus photography show. John lives in Wayne County where he avidly pursues outdoor photography, and can frequently be seen throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania photographing eagles, birds, flowers, waterfalls, streams and other natural subjects.
